Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

Miss Emily is a Special Education teacher. Helena and Luke are students in Miss Eve's class. Miss Emily has put Helena and Luke in a group together. They will be working with Miss Emily in Miss Eve's classroom 2 days a week on Monday and Thursday. They will learn how to manage their emotions like learning how to take deep breaths when they are upset, asking for help when they need an adult to help them calm down and making new friends! Helena and Luke don't really know each other. But, they end up learning a lot about each other through a conversation with Miss Emily. Helena loves puzzles, books and coloring. Luke loves playing with trains and running on the play ground. In the end, they love being in a group together and they are going to have a fun year with Miss Emily.

Lupe es una niña muy dulce, buena y creativa. Vive en Córdoba, Argentina con su mamá Dolo, su papá Pepe y su hermanito Teo. A Lupe le encanta la naturaleza y los animales. Le encanta ir a la plaza, correr, saltar. En el verano le encanta nadar en la pileta. Lupe ama los arcoíris, los unicornios y disfrazarse de princesa. Una noche soñó que estaba en la plaza y de repente apareció la princesa Sofía, la princesa de los dibujos animados que ella tanto admiraba. De repente antes de que la busquen, Lupe se despertó. Entendió que todo había sido un sueño. Por un momento se entristeció, pero cuando vio su cuarto y sus juguetes recordó que le encantaba su vida. Lo que le sorprendió es que vio en el piso el vestido de la princesa Sofía. El sueño había sido un poco real.

A 9 year old girl spends much time listening to her dad's stories about his work as an Egyptian Archaeologist . Her dad is well known for discovering old artefacts of ancient egypt. Every night her dad would come home to tell her about the lattest discoveries until one night where she wakes up and decides to sneak into her dad's truck to go with him to work

Sparky was known as the hero of the forest, admired by all for his courage and kindness. And though he was just a tiny firefly, his light shone brighter than ever, illuminating the hearts of all who knew him.

And so, the two pots learned that everyone has something special to give, no matter their differences. The Broken Pot was no longer sad, and the Shiny Pot learned the value of helping others. Together, they lived happily ever after, always making the world a little brighter.
